MINORS ON TUMBLR BEWARE

image

Keep an eye out for this pride flag! If you encounter someone with this pride flag as their icon, do yourself a favor and block/report them. This is the MAP pride flag. For those who don’t know, MAP stands for Minor Attracted Person, more commonly known as a pedophile. The MAP community is filled with adults who openly admit to having sexual feelings towards children, and post about how they fantasize about underaged children. It’s sick and disgusting, and these depraved individuals try and use tumblr as a platform to normalize their perversions. They appropriate the experiences of the LGBT community by feigning systematic oppression, and comparing the rightful societal condemnation of pedophiles to the violent persecution of the LGBT community, which isn’t even remotely comparable. It’s honestly reprehensible that they’d take advantage of pride by making a flag like this. It’s incrediblly dangerous because unifying symbols such as this create a platform for pedophiles to prey on children, and spread pedophilia-enabling rhetoric. Please spread this around if you can, and if you are a minor, don’t bother interacting with these scumbags. It’s not worth putting yourself in danger to call these people out or try to get them to see the error of their ways. Stay safe everyone!

It looks like the “Creator” of the flag is @/dont-mistake-our-geography, she is an avid MAP supporter and possible MAP herself. She has her main blog in her title under “stennastims” which she says she’ll follow from! So, if you get followed from either! Block them!

One of my favorite things (/sarcasm) is when ppl fling mud at Dany for "letting her dragons do everything for her" and basically reduce her importance in both the show and the books to JUST her dragons...but what do they want Jon to accomplish in the last season/books? "KING JON THE DRAGONRIDER" -_- (Sorry, had to keep ranting, you don't have to respond if you're beyond through already)

muttpeeta:

i mean, i can’t understand the sudden disdain for dragons because, for a fucking fantasy story, you’d think it’d be pretty fucking awesome to have dragons you can control and ride! which Dany can! i feel like learning how to control a huge, magical beast that could incinerate or eat you in an instant presents its own set of challenges, you know, kind of like how learning to swing a sword is someone else’s skill. but i guess that’s just “too easy” or something especially because it’s Dany doing it. and that just means it’s inherently bad i guess. we only value masculine qualities like sword fighting and cutting off heads in this society, of course!

but it’s definitely amazing how badly some people want to give those dragons, the ones that apparently make everything soo easy for the female heroine, the ones that are evil and destructive only under a woman’s touch, to the male hero…

Waypoint Interview: ‘The Last of Us’ Developers Discuss Realistic Kissing, Queer Fridging, More

As always, I’m a desperate whore for more TLOU 2 info. Waypoint did an interview with the writers some days ago (article is linked in the content source down below), and here are the excerpts I found particularly interesting!

I am L I V I N G for the fact that they put so much of their resources into making the kiss look as good and as real as possible. Now my gay ass is expecting more kisses - thanks Neil and Halley! The wait just became even more excruciating.

But the talk about tropes has me feeling all kinds of apprehensive. Ellie’s gonna be vicious af, I think we already know that; but the implication of violence being perpetrated against her in possible relation to her being a gay female character has got me on an anxious hold. Like. The game isn’t even out, I don’t even know what’s gonna go down, but I’m already calling for a bloodbath on behalf of Ellie.

The good thing is that they’re at least aware of the tropes???
